  • Cando Solar has developed the world’s first 210 mm busbar-free HJT solar module, which reduces the amount of silver paste used and enables the production of lead-free modules
  • Cando’s lead-free HJT modules have a power ranging from 425 W to 700 W and a best module efficiency of 22.6%
  • Cando has also developed a pattern customization technology that allows customers to customize the pattern of their modules without affecting the power of the module

Cando Solar, a Chinese HJT module maker, offers 2 specialty HJT modules – lead-free and patterned. Cando claims that it developed the world’s first 210 mm busbar-free HJT solar module in 2022. This approach reduces the amount of silver paste used at the cell level, thus enabling the production of lead-free modules.

The company is promoting these lead-free HJT modules with power ranging from 425 W to 700 W and a best module efficiency of 22.6%. Cando’s product portfolio supports a wide range of applications, including utility-scale, commercial and industrial, residential, and BIPV systems. In order to combine PV modules with different application scenarios and meet the needs of different conditions, Cando Solar developed the pattern customization technology and launched new patterned modules.

Unlike the traditional color pattern module technology, this method avoids large area color occlusion and customizes the pattern without affecting the power of the module. The patterned module product has also passed all the reliability tests of IEC61215 and IEC61730.
