Swiss Team From Studer Innotec Brings Advanced Inverter Charger For On-Grid & Grid-Connected Applications

  • During Intersolar 2024, Studer Innotec introduced the Next1 inverter-charger that is designed for both off-grid and grid-tied setups
  • The Next1 delivers reliable power with continuous output of 4,500 VA, peak power of 6,500 VA, and can handle surges up to 12,000 VA
  • The Next1 delivers 6,500 VA P30 and 4,500 VA Pnom in an IP65 case with integrated CAN, LAN, WiFi, and Modbus. It is grid-certified for most countries and comes with a 10-year warranty

Studer Innotec introduced the Next1 inverter-charger at Intersolar 2024, developed by its Swiss R&D team with 35 years of experience. Next1 is a single-phase unit that is ideal for both off-grid and grid-tied applications. Featuring a low-frequency topology for high overload capability and minimal standby power consumption. This inverter delivers continuous power output of 4,500 VA, peak power of 6,500 VA, and surge capacity of 12,000 VA, all housed in an IP65 case.

According to the technical datasheet from the company, the Next1 supports a pure sine wave output with nominal voltages from 220 to 240 Vac or 110 to 130 Vac at 50 / 60 Hz. It offers robust battery support with a 48 Vdc nominal voltage and a maximum charging current of 125 Adc, including multiple charging stages with temperature compensation. Integrated communication interfaces, including CAN, LAN, WiFi, and Modbus, enhance its versatility.

The Next1 meets EU standards for low voltage and electromagnetic compliance, is grid-certified for most countries, and comes with a 10-year warranty. Available in wall-mounted and 19” rack versions, it offers flexibility and scalability for various energy needs.
