Recently, INVTSolar, one of the leading Chinese solar inverter manufacturers, launched the new XG1-5KTL-S series single-phase inverter at an event in the Indian state of Gujarat (INVTSolar Launches New Inverter).

INVTSolar claimed the new product is part of its smallest power model (1-5kW) of the XG series inverter, suitable for India’s residential rooftop segment. According to a company statement, the inverter is of a single MPPT channel with a maximum 20A DC input current carrying capacity, has a wide range of MPPT voltage of 50 V to 550 V, and a minimum starting voltage of 60V.

INVTSolar also claimed that its new inverter possesses up to 150% DC input oversizing (DC/AC) capability. It comes with ingress protection (IP) class of IP66 and offers all the major inbuilt safety features. The size and weight of the inverter are 270 x 250 x 130 mm and 6 kg, respectively. These are compatible with RS485, WiFi, and 4G communication interfaces, the manufacturer added.
